VAITE¢â Pro DS stores files to be distributed by VAITE¢â Clients and also provides destination information to VAITE¢â Clients.
VAITE¢â Pro DS is distributing expands that able to expand up to 256 computers.
Install VAITE¢â Pro IS file provided by AILOGIX.
Press ¡®Next¡¯ button and install condition will appear as below.
Click ¡®I agree¡¯ after reading the conditions then press ¡®Next¡¯ button.
Install will be completed shortly after pressing the Next button.
* VAITE¢â Programs can be uninstalled in Add/Remove Programs function.
Go to Windows ¡®start¡¯ button and select the AILOGIX menu and run the VAITE¢â Distribution Server Properties in the VAITE¢â Distribution Server. Refer to example below.
General Tab
Run As Stand Alone is a function where the program runs immediately
Hence, server will be closed when program is closed
Run As Service stands in the OS¡¯s service list and it continues to functions unless it is pulled down from the server.
Auto run when system is started option sets VAITE¢â Server to run automatically when the OS is turned on.
Do not press the ¡®OK¡¯ button unless all configurations are completed.
Network Tab
IP address in Local Settings is the fixed IP address of the VAITE¢â Pro Distribution Server installed server. Please select one of the IP address form the list.
Next, insert the IP address of the computer that has the Indexing Server installed.
If the Indexing Server is installed in the same computer, input the same address.
Publish Folder Tab
Please set the folder holding the file you wish to distribute.
Support Compression is only selected when file compression is needed.
It may cause the distribution speed to fall, so please be cautious when selecting this option.
If the configuration is completed, press ¡®OK¡¯ and run the program in the menu.
Place the file you want to distribute to Publish folder
Cache file will be created as below, when you place the movie trailers.wmv to the Publish folder.
movie trailers.wmv.cuxl.cache
Place the mouse curser on VAITE¢â LEw icon on the system tray and select the ¡®Get File Link¡¯ from the right click option.
Select movie trailers.wmv from here and CUXL File Link will appear on the bottom.
This link connects the file to be distributed to the user and this link has to be clicked to start the file download.
Insert the link showed at the CUXL File Link windows to the html code then it will become file download link.
Add the Link showed in CUXL Media Link windows to the html code and it enables users to view streaming videos on the web.

Show File Index is located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\AILogix\VAITE Distribution Server; saved as index.cuxl.html.
This information is presented as an XML file to enable it to move to DB.
